Account Information

When you create a ResumeLine account, we collect:

• Name and email address
• Company name (if applicable)
• Phone number
• Billing information (processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers)

Candidate Information (Collected During Interviews)

When candidates call your ResumeLine number, our AI interviewer collects information they provide during the conversation, including:

• Full name and contact information
• Work history, job titles, and employment dates
• Education history
• Skills and certifications
• Any other information the candidate voluntarily shares during the interview

Call Recordings

All ResumeLine interviews are recorded for quality and accuracy. Call recordings are processed and stored by our AI telephony provider, Retell AI. Recordings are used to generate accurate resume content and may be reviewed for service quality.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including:

• IP address and browser type
• Pages visited and features used
• Date and time of access
• Referring URL

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the Service, including conducting AI interviews and generating resumes
• Deliver resumes to the account holder's designated email address
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, resume delivery)
• Improve the Service, including AI interview quality
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ResumeLine:

• Retell AI — Powers our AI phone interviews and processes call recordings. Retell AI Privacy Policy
• Stripe — Processes subscription payments. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Resend — Delivers transactional emails including resume delivery. Resend Privacy Policy
• Cloudflare — Hosts our website and provides security services. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
• OpenAI / Anthropic — AI language models used to process interview transcripts and generate resume content. Candidate data sent to these services is used solely for resume generation and is not used to train their models.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the Service may not function properly.

5. Data Retention

• Account data is retained for as long as your account is active and for 30 days after cancellation.
• Generated resumes are retained for 12 months after creation, unless you delete them sooner.
• Call recordings are retained by Retell AI according to their retention policy, typically 30 days.
• Candidate information is retained as part of the generated resume and associated call data.
• Usage data is retained for up to 12 months.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of non-essential communications
